a series of works bassed on the simple concept of the stages of painting. Here i was looking at the use of the foundation of painting the base, I looked at the idea of the construction of the canvas through destruction sand used white paint strokes as representational marks of primer and string as the individual fibers of the canvas. I love the piece as as a viewer you can read so much in to it as form of security and the string acting as protection like a womb if so to speak or the white as a hospita which links in with the theme of protection again.
